Each week has a different theme, with trips, activities, and lessons centered around each theme.  The
activity program allows your children to have an enjoyable day-camp experience while improving their
academics.

In the morning, from 9am until 12pm, students are engaged in language arts and math activities.  Individualised lessons are created so that your child can focus on troublesome areas, and excel in areas that they are beginning to master.

Afternoons during the summer are filled with fun, arts, crafts, group activities, and reading.  Children look forward to the afternoons at Hillcrest where they make new friends and play fun games.  We are also lucky to be just a short walk away from three large parks where children can play, swim, and have a great time.  All while being supervised by a talented staff.

In keeping with the weekly theme, a major trip is planned each week.  Past trips have included the ROM

during our prehistoric times week, the Science Centre during our science and technology week, the Bluebird Café when we explore cooking, and many more.

Hopefully it's clear that while Hillcrest strongly supports quality education, we think that summer is also a time for children and students to have fun.  There's no better place then Hillcrest for both.
