Hillcrest Summer Camp 2012

Welcome to the 2012 Hillcrest Summer Day camp!!

Hillcrest's Summer Day Camp program is open to all students (both public and private schools), ages 2 1/2 to 14!!

Our program is 8 individual weeks  beginning on Tuesday, July 3rd and ending the week of August 20th. Each week has a different theme, with trips, activities, and lessons centered around the theme.

The activities enable your child to have an enjoyable day-camp experience, make new friends and try new things.  The day is filled with arts & crafts, group activities, trips and games, all geared to the theme of the week and having fun!

Children look forward to days at Hillcrest, where they can make new friends and enjoy playing on the large play structure in our playground. (Students are advised to bring their bathing suits and a towel everyday, as we have access to both the Everykids Park Splashpad and the Alder Pool).  All the while, your child is being supervised by the talented, caring and experienced teachers and staff at Hillcrest!

In keeping with the weekly theme, a major trip or activity is planned each week.  Past trips have included the ROM - Dinosaur week, the Science Centre - Outdoor Education week, The Bluebird Café - Cooking week, Reptillia - Reptile week and many more!

In the mornings, students who require academic help or wish to have their skills improved for the following school year can be identified. An academic program can be created to develop skills and move each student forward in areas they may find challenging!  Hillcrest strongly supports quality education, we think that summer is also a time for children to have fun.

****Please Note**** There is a $50.00 deposit required to complete your registration for each week you wish to sign up for.  This deposit will then be taken out of your total cost, allowing us to reserve your spot(s) in our Summer Day Camp.

Hillcrest also has a Before and After School Program! The Before School Program begins at 7:00 am and the After School Program is from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. If you need these programs please let us know and we will supply you with details.
